What's New in Vic.ai: July 2026

Our July product releases focused on enhancing all aspects of our payments product, VicPayTM. More visibility into where a payment actually stands, a cleaner way to build a batch, and fewer reasons to open a support ticket. Here's the quick rundown.

Delayed Payment Notifications. Payment initiators, batch approvers, and vendors now get automatic notifications, plus in-app updates, as soon as Vic.ai knows a payment will be delayed. Available to all VicPay customers in the US.

Vic.ai Notifications: Payment Delayed email

Payment detail visibility in the Invoices table. For invoices paid through VicPay, key payment details now live in the approval drawer on closed, paid invoices, including approval date, estimated vendor arrival date, payment type, remittance ID, and current transaction status. No leaving the invoice workflow to check on a payment. Available to all VicPay customers.

Approval History and the side drawer

New payment batch create modal. Batch creation now groups bills by vendor, folds payment timing into a single control, and separates errors from warnings, so you can see exactly what needs attention before you submit. Available to all VicPay customers.

Payments: Bill Pay and Remittance

Better support for invoices over 200 lines. Improved ML extraction on high-line-count and high-page-count invoices, plus an Invoices table that loads smaller sets of lines first with the option to expand. Big invoices are easier to load, review, and process. Available to all US and Nordic customers.

Product Release Archive

Payment History view. A complete timeline on the Payments page showing when each payment event happened (submitted, funded, sent to bank, settled, cleared) along with check-specific milestones like printed, shipped, and delivered. Built for audits, vendor disputes, and month-end close. Available to all US VicPay customers.

VicPay: Payments Table

Posting timeout status and error message. When a posting attempt stalls, Vic.ai now catches it and moves the invoice to a "Posting failed" status with a clear message to retry, instead of leaving it stuck on "Posting in progress" with no explanation. Available to US and Nordic customers.

Common Posting Errors

New home for the Bank Details page. Bank Details moved from Admin > Payables to Admin > Company, a small information architecture change for VicPay and VicCards users. Available to all US customers.
